Today’s Word

The bible tells us that a woman with an issue of blood went to various physicians to help heal her of her issues. She sought their help for twelve years, but they were unsuccessful in their attempts to help her. She could have given up because some of the best and brightest physicians of her region could not help her, but she didn’t.

The bible says that when she saw Jesus in a crowd, she pressed her way through it and made contact with His garment and was healed of her issues. Her willingness to continue to keep pressing made the difference in her life. If you have some issues in your life that you have been unable to overcome, let me encourage you to keep pressing towards God in prayer, and as it was with this woman, He will dry up your issues as well.

Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father we give you thanks for all of the blessings that you have given us. There are times, however, that we can become passive or even quit because what we desire has been unfulfilled. We pray therefore, that you give us the passion to continue to keep pressing towards you in faith, that we may also witness our nagging issues dry up as well, in Jesus name. Amen.

Today’s Word

Lets be honest, because of our jobs, perhaps unemployment, bills, poor health, personal issues and so forth, it is sometimes, really difficult to feel happy. Yet, scripture tells us that regardless of the numerous, an often, difficult challenges that we are faced with, that we actually have the opportunity to be happy and full of excitement each day!

This is so, because sadness and frustration for God’s people are never mandatory! In fact, happiness is always a God-given choice, for those for those who have faith in the Lord. Therefore, let me encourage you to be resolved to always choose faith over frustration and gladness over sadness, because through God there is nothing we cannot do!

Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the opportunity to rejoice and be glad, as you have declared in your word, today. We ask that you help us to sustain this very positive and upbeat attitude, throughout the day. Help us to also spread this wonderful gift of joy and gladness to others, on this day that you have made, in Jesus name. Amen!

What if God only loved those people who did what he said, thank goodness he is not like us.

It’s sad when people only love you when they are excited and happy, that shows you they need your love bad.

“Continue in prayer” (Col. 4:2 KJV)

Today’s Word

Do you wake up each morning with a strong desire to pray? Are you anxious to begin your day talking to God? God encourages us in His word to continue in prayer. This suggest that the prayer that you prayed this morning, should not be considered something new, but instead, an extension of a previous conversation that you had with God.

What is interesting is that, God actually prefers that we do not speak to Him in stages, but in a way that is almost seamless or constant. This is so, because, I believe that this reflects how God wants to bless us. In other words, He desires to bless us, not so much, ‘in unpredictable stages’, but, in a constant flow. So let me encourage you to continue in prayer. In fact, when things are rough, ‘Continue in Prayer’! When your finances are stagnant, ‘Continue in Prayer’! When your health is suffering, ‘Continue in Prayer’! When you are facing any kind of challenge, ‘Continue in Prayer’! God will certainly hear your prayer, and bless you.

Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the opportunity to boldly approach you in prayer. Please help us to consistently stay in your presence and not be distracted as we continue to pray the prayer of faith. Father, as we continue in prayer, we humbly receive your strength and all other blessings, which enable us to prosper, in Jesus name. Amen!

Regardless of how much you are criticized, if you did it out of love then that’s all the justification you need.
